The Premier League is back after the international break – but not all the stars are available. Phil Foden is listed as suspended, Cole Palmer is doubtful and, according to Rotowire's overview, Liverpool will have to cope without both Alexander Isak and Cody Gakpo.
We have updated the predicted line-ups for all ten matches ahead of Matchweek 6. The overview is based on Rotowire's predictions, checked on Friday 9 October. These are predicted teams, not officially confirmed starting XIs. Doubtful players may be included in the predictions, and the teams could change before kick-off.
Foden out – Haaland expected to start at Anfield
Liverpool–Manchester City is the weekend's big Sunday fixture, kicking off at 17.30 Norwegian time. Erling Haaland is in City's predicted XI, while Phil Foden is listed as suspended. Rotowire expects Jeremy Doku, Rayan Cherki and Antoine Semenyo to play behind the Norwegian, but Semenyo is also marked as doubtful.
Liverpool have Alexander Isak, Cody Gakpo and Hugo Ekitike listed as out. Florian Wirtz is predicted to lead the line, with Bradley Barcola, Dominik Szoboszlai and Victor Munoz behind him. Jeremy Jacquet is doubtful, despite being included in the predicted starting XI.

Palmer in the XI – but with an important caveat
Chelsea host Bournemouth on Saturday at 16.00. Cole Palmer is included in Rotowire's predicted line-up, but is also marked as doubtful. The same applies to Moises Caicedo and Reece James. Being included in a predicted line-up does not mean a player has been declared fit.
For Bournemouth, Justin Kluivert and Alex Scott are among the players listed as out. Tyler Adams and Lewis Cook are expected to play in central midfield, with Ryan Christie ahead of them.

Saliba missing – Rice and Mosquera doubtful

Martin Ødegaard is included in the predicted line-up, with Bukayo Saka, Eberechi Eze and Viktor Gyokeres in the attacking roles. Leeds have Daniel James, Mateo Joseph and Joe Rodon listed as out.
