Two away wins and a draw are the starting point for Saturday’s betting tips. We are backing Liverpool to win at 2.75 at Brentford, Chelsea to win at 2.30 at Everton and a draw at 3.70 between Newcastle and Aston Villa.
The three selections were submitted by Emil and serve as this week’s best tips for these matches. The editorial team adds one selection for each of the seven remaining fixtures in matchweek 7, which takes place on 17–19 October.

Saturday’s three main selections
Everton–Chelsea: Chelsea to win at 2.30
Saturday’s first match kicks off at 13.30 at Hill Dickinson Stadium. We are using Emil’s away win as our best tip. This is a straight win bet: Chelsea must take all three points, and a draw is not enough.
A demanding away fixture means we are not treating Chelsea as a banker. The price of 2.30 is the odds Emil provided; check that it is still available and look at the starting line-ups before placing a bet.

Brentford–Liverpool: Liverpool to win at 2.75
Kick-off is at 16.00 on Saturday at Gtech Community Stadium. Liverpool to win at 2.75 is the second away selection. We are choosing the match winner rather than adding a goals requirement or a handicap.
The odds alone do not make this a good bet. Liverpool have to deliver away from home, and the team selection could change the assessment. This is a submitted betting selection, not a claim that Liverpool have welcomed back any particular injured players.

Newcastle–Aston Villa: Draw at 3.70
Saturday’s final match of the round kicks off at 18.30 at St. James’ Park. Here we are backing Emil’s draw at 3.70, rather than a home or away win.
These are the highest odds of the three submitted selections, and therefore reflect an outcome the market considers less likely. The bet wins only if the teams have scored the same number of goals at the end of normal time.

The editorial team’s tips for the rest of the round
The prices below are the minimum acceptable odds for a bet, not confirmed odds at Betclown. We have chosen to state a price threshold rather than invent bookmaker odds. If the current price is lower, we will pass on the bet.
Fulham–Hull: Fulham to win – minimum 1.70
Saturday at 16.00. Home advantage is the basis for this selection, and we are sticking to a win rather than a handicap. The team selection should be checked before betting. View the match and line-ups.
Manchester City–Ipswich: City -1.5 Asian handicap – minimum 1.75
Saturday at 16.00. We are backing City to dictate the game at the Etihad and win by at least two goals. A one-goal win means a losing bet, so a short price does not offer enough reward for the risk. View the match and line-ups.
Bournemouth–Sunderland: Over 2.5 goals – minimum 1.85
Sunday at 15.00. Our assessment is that Bournemouth will attack at home while potentially leaving space for the visitors. At least three goals are required. This is an assessment of how the match might unfold, not confirmed information about the teams. View the match and line-ups.
Brighton–Crystal Palace: Under 3.5 goals – minimum 1.60
Sunday at 15.00. In this rivalry fixture, we are choosing zero to three goals rather than picking a winner. An early goal could make the bet more difficult, but the line allows for a match that finishes 2–1. View the match and line-ups.
Leeds–Manchester United: Both teams to score – minimum 1.80
Sunday at 15.00. We prefer goals at both ends to picking a match winner at Elland Road. Leeds must find the net, and United must do the same; plenty of chances or a one-sided, high-scoring result will not suffice. View the match and line-ups.
Nottingham Forest–Arsenal: Under 3.5 goals – minimum 1.65
Sunday at 17.30. We are backing a controlled encounter with a compact home defence rather than forcing a bet on an Arsenal win at a short price. Four goals or more means a losing bet. View the match and line-ups.
Tottenham–Coventry: Tottenham to win – minimum 1.70
Monday at 21.00. We are opting for home advantage but leaving out the handicap. Tottenham must win; there is no requirement for a particular winning margin or a clean sheet. View the match and line-ups.
How we track this week’s tips
All ten selections appear in “This week’s best betting tips”, with a suggested stake of 5 units (u) per match. That does not mean you have to bet on the entire round. A unit is your own fixed stake size, and ten bets give a total exposure of 50 units.
The bets are unsettled at the time of publication. We do not record winnings until the matches are over, and unsettled bets do not affect the strike rate or returns in the historical record. Previously published bets remain in the betting history.
Emil’s submitted prices may have changed. The editorial team’s price thresholds are not offers from the bookmaker.
